To use sport as an effective development tool to advocate, empower and create awareness on sport for development issues in less privileged communities
Create platforms that empower, encourages, and supports community development through physical and recreational activities
What We Do
Through expert tutoring , constructive criticism , motivation and hand-on support, sports coaching help young people and athletes in our programs focus their minds , hone their bodies and learn their disciplines to ensure they have the best possible chance of succeeding
NYSDP values training of communities in sports in order to build active , functional and organized structures that drives sustainable community sports and recreation programs
We use sport as the hook to draw community members from their target population into programs which in addition to providing sport and recreation activities link participants to support , network and provide services aimed at developing communities they reside.
Our sports volunteers exchange programs offer young people the possibility to do what they like most, in a diverse community. Develop young people sports skills, improve their training methods or find out about new sports for development and sports approaches. Through the sports volunteers exchange programs ,there is something for everyone!
